Please someone. Tell me this isn't a joke!
We are an independent production company and core group of Browncoats. We are not affiliated with 20th Century Fox or Universal Pictures.
We are currently pursuing the rights to continue the series from Fox and make it available to the fans, either directly or via another broadcaster.
Yes! I'll buy it! Just tell me where to sign! The movie, Serenity, was great, but lacked the warmth of the series. The best format to tell the story of the Firefly crew is episodic. Check out the website. There's a survey you can take anonymously if you choose. With so much crap on TV, I hate to see a really good show die a premature death.
My family (or most of us) got into Firefly by getting the tv episodes from Netflix. We were up for the movie and then I read some spoiler info and decided I didn't want to go through all that; better to remember them as they were and all that.
A season two project would be great, though. It could all be "prequel" to the movie with everyone still alive. I'd be renting/watching it, for sure.

I love Firefly altho ive only watched it this year. If season 2 does take off it should be before the movie, that way all the actors are involved and will have bigger impact on fans rather than setting it after the movie. (Because we carnt do it without Wash and sheppard we need their shenanigans).. Plus it will entice me to watch it because the ending of season 1 is unfinished if you havnt seen the movie.

Hi there,
of course I would love to have a season 2 if the whole team incl. cast and Whedon are involved. Who wouldn´t ;)
I´ve already filled in all my details on your saison2 site. You should have a news field where we can see what your progress is.
I´m dying to get some news.
Cheers from Berlin, Germany

Hi People with taste!!!!
It been little more than a month ago since i got into the browncoat universe and i still cant believe how brilliant it is. We must fight to bring it back!!
A second season would answer so many questions like for instance who sheperd was: it would be good to bring him back for an episode or two and explore his background - Maybe he was an allied commander in the battle of serenity and sought Mal out for repentence. Crazy maybe, but how brilliant would it be if an episode explored the secrets of the shows most mystical character.
I agree with Beate Geibel, it would be good if you can create a news update field.
Keep trying, were all backing you.
Cheers from Alnwick - the outbacks of the north east of England.

During filming of the pilot episode, Whedon was still arguing with Fox that the show should be displayed in widescreen format. Consequently, he purposely filmed scenes with actors on the extreme edge of both sides so that they could only be shown in widescreen
