A slight pause from our regular programming to thank all of you who have stopped by to read M.A.W.B. Squad. It was 182 days ago that we first began posting here, or as close as you get to six months without counting half days. (The majority of us had other blogs previous to this one and some continue to write on their original sites; Eloise at Spitbull, Margaret aka House Mouse at Our House, Peg at What If?, Cathy aka St. Kate at Cathy in the Wright.)
Coincidentally, we hit the milestone of 20,000 visitors the same day. Reader number 20,000 hails from Hammond, Louisiana and arrived at our humble blog via a google search for Walken 2008 at 10:25 PM CDT.
(For the sake of posterity, there are currently 380 posts on M.A.W.B. with 582 comments.)
Looking at just the last 100 visitors, you're reading M.A.W.B. Squad in Germany, Australia, Finland, Iraq, the U.K., the Philippines, the Netherlands, and of course our neighbor to the north, Canada. In the past I've noticed that the government of New Zealand keeps a close watch on M.A.W.B. activities, probably concerned with our plans to rule the world. Of course, a majority of you call the U.S.A. your home, including Alaska and Hawaii in the most recent 100.
Just as interesting are the domains you come from. Of course we love to see af.mil, army.mil, navy.mil in our referrals. Thank you to our all volunteer military! You rock! I've spotted visitors from Pentagon.gov, (though I can't seem to get to that domain), and UScourts.gov, (I'm guessing it was a Rehnquist clerk laughing at me for saying he was going to retire.), and the Los Alamos laboratory. There's also a lot of .edu domains from our institutions of higher learning.
I can't list all the cool stuff of course, but the gist of my message is that you guys are fascinating. We appreciate every reader and thank you for stopping by to just cruise the topics of the day or to say hi.
A special shout goes out to all the wonderful people we've met through blogging and all the great sites out there, especially my cohorts and the bloggers of the M.O.B. I'm amazed by your talents every day.
Congratulations.

The Pentagon is there, I assure you.
Heh, I just had a Rihadh today in fact! Made me a little apprehensive, but what are you gonna do.
Maybe if I make 'em laugh they'll send me a barrel of oil.
