Never Mind Me Parked on the Side of the Road In Front of Your House With My Camera

I drive by this house usuallly once a week or so and love their sign. (Click for larger image.)

During the war they had Liberate Iraq, and Liberate Madison, (our state capital). I don't know the people who live there, but I'm thinking we would get along pretty well. I wonder if anyone ever stops by and says, "Hi. I saw your sign and wanted to meet you." I better not for now. My family is already threatening to make me sit at another table when we go out to eat because I'm looking for pictures that might be interesting to add to the blog.

My view on the drive home last night. (I had a van full of kids who I had to make sit still so I could get the shot. Goes to show you that what's going on outside your windows is not always reflected in what's going on inside your real life. Wish I could tell you I was sitting back with my feet up. lol.)

Mayberry R.F.D.

I was driving home from the twin cities on the Friday before Labor Day weekend when I spied a new sign on the side of the road as you entered our little town of about 1,000 people.

What have we here I asked myself? Are the local authorities hard at work to prevent all the tourists driving through town from speeding?

Across from the grocery store I noticed a police cruiser parked as if in warning.....Big Brother is watching. Yet, something just didn't LOOK right. So I took a left and headed around the block to see for myself. And this is what I found.............
