Wow! This is HUGE!! The Northern Alliance, a group of Minnesota area bloggers formed by High Commissioner of the Blogosphere, Mr. Hugh Hewtt, have reached an agreement with AM1280 The Patriot to host a weekly three hour radio show, starting Saturday, March 6.
Guys?? Do you have a time set for the broadcast?
In case you're not familiar with the Northern Alliance, current members are:
Captain's Quarters
Fraters Libertas*
Lileks
Powerline
Shot in the Dark
SCSU Scholars
Spitbull
You can find them on my upper left sidebar.
Congratulations one and all!
While taking the Northern Alliance tour, I read it first at Helloooo, Chapter Two!
Update: Leave it to the educator in the bunch, King at SCSU Scholars finally lets us know the show will run from Noon to 3 PM.
I confess I'm wondering how big this studio is? There's four Fraters guys, 2 local Powerliner's I believe, Mitch, Ed, King, Lileks, plus Eloise and the Monk from Spitbull. Twelve people in a radio booth? Bloggers no longer restrained by their typing WPM? This could get interesting. I may have to park outside to see what kind of shape they're in when they stumble out after the first show.
Wow! This is outstanding. With all due
respect to the Patriot, their weekend
programming was lame, mostly reruns of
Friday's shows. Josh Arnold is very
informative, but not very exciting to listen
to. There is so much to say, and so little
time.

No, DC, we won't be there all at once; that just would not work. It'll be a few at a time.

Well you didn't have to spoil my fun so quickly, :) but thanks for the info.
I'll have to call in to provide the "soccer Mom" perspective occasionally. It's even possible I could be in Asia for your first show....foreign corrrespondent?
