I may never get to visit the pyramids of Egypt. I may never snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef or walk along the Great Wall of China. But I will still die a happy woman because last night I saw the Nihilist in Golf Pants do his Elvis impersonation (the fat years) at Keegan's Pub. Never again will I hear 'Burning Love' and not remember how my Sam Adams nearly streamed out my nose at an Irish bar in Minneapolis. Thank you, son. It was a priceless performance.
Thank you, Sandy, for arriving early enough to secure our booth so we could set up court just inside the front door. I think you're correct about beefing up the Homeland Security department. I'm not scared of radio show producers, but I think someone has got to do a background check on that EckerNet guy. Kevin looks so innocent...just the type you never suspect. Look here...he's already stirring the pot. Careful, young Jedi...don't mess with The Force.
While we're considering key cabinet positions...anyone else in the Squad get wonderful Karl Rove-like vibes from Sisyphus? Natural fit if you ask me. (Hey Sisyphus - I fed Dumpster Kitty (our feral cat) the leftover satay chicken. Who's your Satan now?!)
I think we should discuss this at length. I am off to a late soccer match, but this weekend we should re-visit the idea of a MAWB Squad weekend retreat. I would not want the weighty decision of who should be the new Court Jester to be decided via email.
We missed you Elf, Bundy, and Eloise!

I missed you guys too. I debated all week about coming but the kiddies just got the best of me. G2, aka Blurg, aka Scootch is attached to my side during the waking hours. She will be weaned and Ferbered soon and then I will take back the night. Of course I will also need to break the Boy from scaring G2 with stories of monsters that only live under her bed (an unforseen flaw of bunk beds). But then the night is mine. Hurray!!! The weekend retreat sounds COOL!!

Sorry St. Kate, feeding your cat gourmet leftowvers doesn't count as evil.

But it was REALLY hot and spicy. Probably burned his little kitty lips right off. I heard the sizzling through the kitchen window. I'm only sorry he bolted so I couldn't watch the spectacle.

Hey - I miss you guys, too! Instead of being Back Home, I get to be in Pittsburgh, getting my bridge tushie trounced. (Still more days; here's hoping I can turn things around before I have to head home with my tail between my legs.)
And the blog looks - WOW!
